It has been more than a year since I last updated this blog. I had always thought it was only a few months, and was genuinely surprised that this blog was started in 2010. The rising of microblogging sites like Facebook and Twitter, where updates are almost daily or real-time, is pushing the traditional weblog into extinction. The weblog, however, has one feature those microblogging sites lack: long, detailed updates. Everything changes too fast in microblogging sites, and people would probably not spend 5 minutes reading one update.
This blog used to be about the frontier of technology, interesting electronic facts, tutorials, and stuff. To be honest, I had troubles keeping up with all this fancy stuff. I always feel like I am living in the stone age.
And that is why I have an idea lately: To change this blog into a programming logbook.
